Complete the following:
Reread page 3 in John Adams and the Boston Massacre. On a sheet of notebook paper make a list of adjectives and the nouns that they describe in these three paragraphs. Think about how the adjectives work in these paragraphs. Complete the following four activities in a post on this page. You may either complete all four in one post or you may do each one in a separate post.
1. If the adjectives were removed from the three paragraphs on page 3, how would it change what you have read? Would it make the paragraphs more or less meaningful?
2. Make a list of at least five adjectives that you believe would describe John Adams. These must be fifth grade adjectives.
3. Discuss the following quote by John Adams with a partner in your group: “It was, however, one of the most gallant, generous actions of my whole life, and one of the best pieces of service I ever rendered my Country.” What do you think he meant by this? Explain your answer in a post.
4. If you were the author of this book, what title would you give it (this cannot be the same one it already has). Why would you give it that title? Use details from the book to support your choice.

I thought it meant that he new he did a good deed by help Captain Preston out and staying were in his beliefes so i think when he saidIt was, however, one of the most gallant, generous actions of my whole life, and one of the best pieces of service I ever rendered my Country.” he deserved to say because he was a good man even though worried about his cousin Samuel Adams he worried about what he knew.

I think he meant that he did a good thing and he was proud that he had helped Captain Preston with his beliefs and he believed strongly in the rights of the colonies.
1. If the adjectives were tooken out of the paragraphs on page 3 it would be hard to read and less mengingful because it would not make sence.
I think it would make it less meaningful beacause wouldn’t make sense and the reader prorobably wouldnt understand what the author wrote.
