Hill – Island of the Blue Dolphins
Group Activity: At the end of Chapter 9, Karana is totally alone on the island and has several problems to solve. Working with your group, use the web provided by Mrs. Skeeter to record a list of the problems that she is facing. Then, brainstorm possible solutions for each problem. Record your solutions on the web. Once you have recorded everyone’s ideas, review and discuss them.
Individual Activity: Select one of the solutions from your web that fit Karana’s situation the best. Make a post on this page and share one of your selected problems and its possible solution.
